Abstract

It refers to the reflection developed in the course of the Post-Graduate School of Education/University of São Paulo. It is bibliographic research that uses as a source, studies in the educational area. Based on the analysis of the theoretical references, the results of the study indicate that the discussion on the search category, related to teaching university teacher in Physical Education, indicates elements to think the importance of search in professional performance and the need to think it as strategy in the training continued.
