Abstract

This academic work offers a response to the complexity of teaching and learning gymnastics (basic and aereal) in basic education, specifically at the primary level, where the methodologies used have become obsolete and, above all, have become a barrier to learning. of the children, generating loss of motivation and completely forgetting the significant practice that Physical Education must have inside and outside the session. With the intention of generating proposals instead of problems, this teaching group undertook the task of seeking to innovate the practice and teaching of gymnastics through wrestling, without neglecting and retaking a very important and forgotten topic such as it is the culture, especially the Mexican one. For this reason and being opportune that from teacher training there is the possibility of working with groups of 3rd grade of primary level, it was decided to address and apply this new training process, making use of a didactic unit that allowed addressing the bodily, physical dimensions, cognitive and symbolic of each individual in order to strengthen and enrich motivation, participation and interest in Physical Education sessions and learning gymnastics itself.
